Bar is located in the southeastern part of Montenegro on the coast of Adriatic sea and covers a surface of 505km.lenght of the coastline is 46km,of which are 9 km beach and length of 65km is out on Skadar lake.

Modern city surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation represents the biggest tourist nautical center at the entrance of Adriatic sea.

The turbulent history of this city witnessed numerous cultural and historical monuments of which the most important is Old Town Bar,4 km away from the coast.remains of the former town witnessed many invaders and different cultures.His card today form tourist facilities,restoraunts,sport facilities,markets and 1050 marina berths.

Air Bar is determined by the proximity of two large water surfaces (Adriatic sea and Skadar lake )and with mountain massiv odf Rumia.It is carachterised with long,warm and arid summers and mild and rainy winters.Maximum average monthly temperature in july are 23,5C,and minimal in January are 8,3C.Swimming season last from middle of may to the middle of October,when temperatue reaches 26C.

A jagged costline and big number of stream on Bar shore allowed to form a series of small and large beaches with shoals of fine sand and gravel,so that the area of Municipality has 20 beaches  with the total length of 9.000m.

Natural forests with Mediterranean vegetation with the immediate vicinity of the seashore and rich spring waters give the necessary freshness on the beaches whose sand heats  up to 50C.
